90°S · Build

Build the spec yourself. The number moves as you do.

If published prices mean anything, you should be able to assemble your own shape and see the figure without asking a single person. Every studio that hides this hides it because the number depends on who turns out to be asking.

It can also argue with you. Tick something we would talk you out of and it says so beside the total, which is the only version of this tool worth building.

Fixed means fixed

Where the scope is bounded the price is a number, not a starting point. It does not move between here and the invoice.

A floor where it varies

Automation and assistants depend on what they connect to. Those show a floor and get scoped properly — a fake range most projects exceed is worse than no figure.

Not a checkout

Nothing is charged and nothing is committed. A person reads the spec and confirms the number, and says so if the shape is wrong for the work.

01 · Start from
02 · Add what it has to do

Most companies need one or two of these, and a spec with everything ticked is usually a spec nobody scoped. Anything marked from gets scoped properly rather than guessed.

03 · Timing, and afterwards

In every spec, at no extra line

  • Responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop, checked at real widths
  • Every blocking check on the published standard, run before you look
  • Named conversion events wired and evidenced at handover
  • On-page SEO — titles, meta, Open Graph, sitemap, robots, structured data
  • Repository, hosting and analytics accounts in your name from day one
  • Documentation, and a stack your next developer can read
  • 30 days of fixes after launch
